Collecting Jokers began in September 2022 as a side hobby during Covid—just a way for two friends to stay busy and tie into a fantasy sports podcast we were streaming at the time. We started out selling sports and non-sport trading cards, along with the occasional comic book. But about six months in, we realized the trading card market wasn’t all that sustainable, so we pivoted: comics only, and only on eBay—for the next couple of years.
In 2025, Collecting Jokers expanded into subscription sales, complementing our growing collection of back issues and graded comics. We’re also proud to announce the launch of our online store and our partnership with Manage Comics.
Looking ahead, we’re diving into exclusive incentive covers, planning to hit more comic shows in person, and continuing to bring the very best comics to our ever-growing Collecting Jokers family.
